Openings

We are looking for talented, creative, and highly motivated postdoctoral researchers to study colloidal interactions, dynamics, and assembly in several application areas. Positions are available in project topic areas including: Morphogenesis-Inspired Hierarchical Colloidal Assembly, Feedback Controlled Colloidal Assembly, Zwitterionic Nanoparticle-Cell Interactions, and Shape Dependent Capsule Delivery Systems.

Successful candidates will have a strong background in one or more of the following areas: colloid and surface science, optical microscopy and image analysis, computer simulations and modeling, microfabrication and synthesis, and soft matter materials characterization. Candidates must hold a PhD in engineering, physics, chemistry, or related fields. Previous experience in the study of colloidal interactions, dynamics, and assembly is desirable.

Several positions are available immediately, will be renewable on an annual basis, and are anticipated to last at least two years. Preference will be given to recent PhD graduates who are currently in the US and have a record of quality publication.

Please visit our website for details on our research group. Interested candidates can apply by email by sending a cover letter, CV with a complete list of publications, and contact information for three references to Prof. Michael A. Bevan (mabevan@jhu.edu) or use this contact form. The positions are open until filled.
